Matria does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency medical services, or professional healthcare services.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, pregnancy concerns, symptoms, medication, nutrition, exercise, or treatment. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Matria. If you use Matria on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Your Account and Device Data

Matria is designed to store sensitive health-related data on your device by default.

You are responsible for safeguarding your device, PIN, biometric locks, backups, screenshots, exports, and any information you choose to enter into the app.

Optional cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or sign-in features, when enabled, may be subject to additional provider terms, including services such as Supabase, Firebase, Google AdMob, Apple, or Google Play.

For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, and Ads

5. End User License Agreement (EULA)

Your use of Matria is governed exclusively by these custom Terms and Conditions, which serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) between you and Aether Labs.

7. Audio and Music Content

Matria may include relaxation or wellness audio content that plays only while the app is in the foreground. Playback stops when you leave the app.

Audio content included in Matria is either created by us, royalty-free, public domain, or Creative Commons licensed, making it freely usable for relaxation and wellness purposes.

Where attribution is required, credits may be provided inside the app or within the relevant content sections.

Audio content is provided for relaxation and wellness purposes only. It is not medical treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or professional healthcare advice.

8. Intellectual Property

Matria, its branding, design, interface, app content, graphics, logos, and original materials are owned by Aether Labs or its licensors.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-party content, including music, sound effects, medical references, open-source libraries, educational sources, or external materials, remains the property of its respective owners and is used under applicable licenses.

9. Health Information and Citations

Matria may provide pregnancy, postpartum, wellness, or health-related educational information.

Where appropriate, Matria references authoritative medical, educational, or public health sources. The app’s Learn section contains over 47 distinct educational articles, each thoroughly researched and backed by established institutions, peer-reviewed medical journals, and recognized health organizations (including, but not limited to, the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)).

Specific citations, source material links, and evidence levels are provided directly within the individual educational articles in the app. These citations are provided to help users understand the source of the educational information.

The app is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for personal medical guidance.

Matria may include links to third-party websites, services, legal documents, medical references, educational materials, or external resources.
