At ORVLI ("we," "us," or "our"), we believe privacy is a feature, not an afterthought. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect across our website and our apps (Retouchly, Somnia, Matria, Rootine, Radar Flow, and Growlytics AI — collectively, the "Services"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The short version: We design our apps to keep your data on your device whenever possible. We don't sell your personal information — ever.

1. Information we handle

Information you provide

  • Account or contact details — such as your name and email address, only if you choose to share them (for example, when you email us or sign up for updates).
  • Content you create — photos you edit in Retouchly, dreams you log in Somnia, plant entries in Rootine, or health milestones in Matria. This content stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
  • Messages you send us — anything you tell us through our contact form, email, or social media.

Information collected automatically

  • Diagnostics & usage data — anonymous crash reports and performance statistics that help us fix bugs and improve the apps.
  • Local device data — such as your plant watering schedule (Rootine), your dream entries (Somnia), or your pregnancy milestones (Matria). This is stored locally on your device to power the app's features.

2. How we use information

  • To provide and improve the features of each app.
  • To operate AI features — for example, retouching a photo or interpreting a dream.
  • To respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
  • To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and keep the Services secure.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

3. On-device by default

Where a feature can work without sending data to a server, we make it work on your device. Photos edited in Retouchly, dreams logged in Somnia, plant records in Rootine, and pregnancy milestones in Matria are processed and stored locally by default. You can delete any of this content at any time within the app.

4. AI processing

Several of our apps use AI models to deliver features — for example, AI photo retouching, dream interpretation, or plant disease diagnosis. When AI processing happens on your device, your content never leaves the device. When AI processing happens on our servers or through trusted third-party providers, we share only the data needed to return the result (for example, a single photo) and process it for the sole purpose of delivering the feature you requested.

5. When we share data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors that help us run our infrastructure, analytics, or AI features, under written agreements that limit how they use your data.
  • Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.

6. Storage & retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or to meet legal requirements. Content you store on your device remains until you delete it. Server-side data (such as support emails) is retained for as long as needed to provide the service and respond to your requests.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and other local laws — you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.

8. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including encryption in transit and at rest for server-side data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data and to promptly investigate incidents.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by other reasonable means.
